Application modernizations are complex and challenging for so many companies. The financial services industry poses additional challenges around processes, security, and compliance. This talk will share lessons learned from adoption, modernization, and its challenges around containers, DevOps, and cloud.
Bio
Valentina Rodriguez is a Principal Architect at Red Hat, focusing on the developer journeys in containers and OpenShift. She specializes in building solutions and stories around developers and DevOps. She has worked with high-profile FSI customers, helping them adopt new technologies and modernizing their current environments and architectures.
Her background is in software engineering. She built software for 15 years, working in diverse roles from Developer to Tech Lead and Architect, from retail, healthcare, financial, e-commerce, telco, and many other industries. She's very passionate about technology and has been pursuing several certifications in this space, from frameworks to Kubernetes and project management. She possesses a Master's in Computer Science and is currently pursuing an MBA. She loves contributing to the community and the industry and has spoken at conferences such as O'Reilly, KubeCon, Red Hat DevNation Day, and others.
